Senedd Manifesto

Following May's Senedd election, it is imperative that animal welfare is prioritised by the new Welsh Government, Senedd and political parties across Wales.

Significant progress relevant to animal welfare was made in Wales during the last Senedd term, including the passing of legislation which will ban greyhound racing, bans on the use of snares and glue traps, and the introduction of mandatory CCTV in abattoirs. 

The newly expanded Senedd could see even more progress made, with our manifesto below acting as a blueprint for all political parties as to how this could be achieved.
